Once upon a time...
Watts Communications is me, mostly: Lisa Watts. I work as a writer, editor, strategic communicator and marketer — in short, a storyteller.
For many years I worked as a magazine editor and feature writer at colleges and universities, newspapers and publishers. I launched Watts Communications in 2008 to offer marketing communications services to nonprofit organizations, universities, and small businesses.
My strengths are in listening, observing, researching and thinking strategically. Clients will tell you that I'm a quick study, I always meet deadlines, and I produce results that surpass their expectations. While I work independently, my best work comes through collaboration. I place great value on clean and smart design, strong photography, accessible and compelling copy, and a clear grasp of the central message. Oh, and I love Facebook.
Talented colleagues in graphic design, Web building, photography, and videography form my team as needed. These are professionals who I've come to know and trust over the course of producing many successful projects together.
